When do you call the doctor about Coronavirus?

WILLEMSTAD - Someone who has symptoms of the Coronavirus and has been in contact with an infected person should call the doctor.

The Public Health Department (GGD) then determines the procedure, but they insist on staying at home if there is a chance that you are infected. Whether someone should be admitted to the hospital must be viewed per person. The GGD also determines this.

The Corona tests are performed by the ADC laboratory, but here too GGD determines the procedure to be followed.

Symptoms of the Coronavirus include:

- Fever

- Joint pains

-  Shortness of breath

- Cough

There is absolutely no reason to panic. Just like with any flu, according to Public Health Department, people with a bad immune system are particularly vulnerable.
