THE HAGUE - The Prime Ministers Wever-Croes (Aruba) and Jacobs (Sint Maarten) are part of the Kingdom delegation led by Prime Minister Rutte, which will participate in the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in New York on Friday, September 22.
The reason why Prime Minister Pisas of Curaçao is not attending has not been disclosed. This means that the accompanying State Secretary for Kingdom Relations, Van Huffelen, will have to go without her dance partner.
Wever-Croes and Jacobs will participate in various side events organized throughout the week, focusing on education, climate, female leadership, and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). They will also have meetings with regional colleagues and UN agencies.
