WILLEMSTAD - The upcoming weekend is set to be predominantly cloudy with occasional local showers and thunderstorms. This inclement weather is attributed to a disturbance nearby, according to the Meteorological Service of Curaçao.
The disturbance is located in the southwestern part of the Caribbean Sea, creating an unstable atmosphere over and around the island. Over the next 24 hours, cloud cover will increase, accompanied by rain and thunderstorms. "Locally, the showers can be heavy," warned the weather service.
Wind conditions are expected to be light to moderate in the coming days, while temperatures may rise to a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius. Residents and visitors are advised to stay informed and be prepared for potential weather changes this weekend.
