WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports will host an informative webinar on the TULA Scholarship, a program specifically aimed at students interested in topics related to history. This initiative is the result of a cooperation agreement between the Minister of Education of Curaçao and the Minister of Education of the Netherlands.
The webinar will take place on April 25, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
The TULA Scholarship is open to students with a background or strong interest in the topic of slavery and Curaçao's colonial past. Eligible participants must have a HAVO, VWO or SBO diploma or be candidates scheduled to graduate this year. Applicants must also hold Dutch nationality.
During the webinar, the following information will be presented:
The selection criteria for the scholarship;
Details about the contractual scholarship process via SSC;
A personal testimonial from student Liam Mau-A-Sam, a former scholarship recipient;
And a Q&A session for participants.
