WILLEMSTAD - It will remain partly to heavily cloudy this afternoon with decreasing chances of precipitation, but locally there is still a chance of a shower or two. In the course of the evening and tonight, the chance of showers with thunderstorms will gradually increase again.
A tropical wave will then approach the region and lead to higher chances of a number of local (thunder) showers. The chance of showers seems to be mainly highest between the end of the night and the morning hours.
From the afternoon hours the chances decrease again, but they are not nil. We will also keep this weather pattern on Saturday, when the chances of (more) rain and thunderstorms appear to be even higher.
On Sunday morning we could expect a few showers locally with a chance of thunderstorms, but in the course of the afternoon there may be more and more room for some sunshine and lower chances of precipitation.
Winds will be weak from the east and will increase to weak to moderate over the weekend. The wind can be stronger during showers. In terms of temperature, we expect around 24 degrees Celsius at night and around 30 degrees Celsius during the day.
