WILLEMSTAD – The Meteorological Service of Curaçao (Meteo) has issued a weather alert for the coming days due to a tropical disturbance currently situated over the eastern Caribbean Sea. The system is expected to move across the region this weekend. 

According to Meteo, the disturbance is already causing significant rainfall north of the ABC islands, and its effects could be felt on Curaçao and neighboring territories in the coming days. 

The agency has warned of adverse weather conditions, particularly for air traffic passing through the region’s airspace. Travelers and aviation operators are advised to stay alert to weather updates and potential disruptions.
