WILLEMSTAD - With the purchase of five new buses, Autobusbedrijf Curaçao (ABC) can now proceed with the planned establishment of a bus station in Barber. ABC believes that this project will improve mobility in Banda Bou, including areas like Willibrordus and Tera Kora.
The new service system via the Barber bus station is expected to reduce passenger waiting times from 120 minutes to approximately 40 minutes, thanks to ABC's own fleet of buses.
The fleet includes four large vehicles and one medium-sized bus. The large buses can carry fifty passengers each, while the medium-sized bus has a capacity of thirty passengers. In addition to these five new buses, ABC hopes to acquire ten more medium-sized buses.
