WILLEMSTAD - Several volunteers and three partner diving schools have completed a course to learn more about the coral at Curaçao. After the theoretical part, participants put their acquired knowledge to the test underwater. This information comes from the Coral Reef Restoration Team Curaçao.
In total, 16 volunteers have gained the ability to assist in coral protection through the course. They have also learned how to transplant coral, enabling them to contribute to its expansion underwater.
In addition, three instructors have been prepared to offer the same course in the future. The Coral Reef Restoration Team notes that their work can be observed by everyone at Tugboat Beach.
