WILLEMSTAD - On Thursday, May 16, 2024, the IMF Director, Mr. Paul Hilbers, visited the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. He was accompanied by his advisor, Ms. Carlijn Eijking. During the visit, they discussed the current financial and economic situation in Curaçao and the upcoming Article IV mission from the IMF for 2024. This mission will conduct an up-to-date analysis of Curaçao's economy and provide advice on government policy based on this analysis.
