Venezuelan oil exports have fallen drastically

WILLEMSTAD - Venezuela's oil exports fell last year by 32% to 365 million barrels. According to Reuter news agency, that is the lowest level in almost 75 years.

Even Brazil that has less oil in the ground exports more. Almost double that of Venezuela. Most of the oil was taken by Russia, followed by China and Cuba.

Due to American sanctions, the price for crude oil rose by 20 percent in 2019, but this year is offset by more American oil on the world market.
