WILLEMSTAD - Roderick van Kwartel has not yet been officially dismissed as director of Refineria di Kòrsou or the Curaçao Refinery.

The director of the public limited company, who has been accused of a possible bribery scandal, is entitled to a rebuttal. This is according to Gilbert Martina, as chairman of the Supervisory Board of Refeneria di Kòrsou.

In a special meeting of the shareholders, Van Kwartel gets the chance to defend himself. That meeting still must be called.
