WILLEMSTAD - Van der Valk wants to take a new direction with the arrival of the new Kontiki Luxury Suites. For example, the well-known Wet & Wild 'Friday night' is immediately canceled. Cabana Beach reports this on social media. 

The management of Toucan Beach (Kontiki Beach Resort, Cabana beach, Mood beach and Wet & Wild Beach club) wants to take a new direction. For example, Sunday evenings at Wet & Wild will end at 11 p.m. from now on, just like the Cabana Wednesdays, Dance & Dine. Van der Valk says in 2023 to come up with a replacement concept for Friday evenings. With these changes, the organization does not want to burden the hotel guests of the new resort with the loud noises of the parties. 

"More use will be made of the elements that underline the Caribbean experience, such as the sunset, the beach and the view. The new program offers entertainment earlier in the afternoon and evening, with the focus shifting from beach parties to the late hours to a spectacular, evening-filling program," says managing director Terence van der Valk. 

The changes will take effect from Wednesday.
