WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao announced today that the schools in Curaçao are to be closed starting this Tuesday, March 17 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

There are currently 3 people tested positive, according to Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth, Curaçao's leading epidemiologist. A group of 40 people are being monitored because they may also be infected.
