WILLEMSTAD - Concrete agreements have been reached regarding the backlogs in alimony cases. This was reported by Minister of Justice Shalten Hato (MFK) on his Facebook page. The agreements were made during a meeting with the Judicial Care Implementation Organization (UOJZ).

Several parties participated in the meeting, including a representative of lawyers and the Court of Justice. Also present were civil servants from the Ministry of Justice. The aim of the meeting was to address the backlogs in alimony cases handled by UOJZ, formerly known as the Guardianship Council.

UOJZ and the Ministry of Justice did not specify the steps being taken, but they did mention that individuals with pending requests at UOJZ should patiently await their resolution. "We are working hard to ensure that all requests are processed quickly and efficiently," said the minister.
