WILLEMSTAD - Leaders of five civil servant unions will meet on Monday to discuss how to deal with the upcoming $46 million compensation set for December.
The government recently announced that civil servants and educational staff would receive a payment in December for the indexation and automatic salary increase for 2019 and 2020.
Although civil servants are entitled to more, current government finances limit the payment to this amount. It is hoped that the remaining compensations can be disbursed next year.
