WILLEMSTAD - 120 young people without a diploma are given the opportunity to get a job. Funditut and EduDesign Caribbean have joined forces to make that happen.  

In the Un komienso nobo (A new beginning) project, candidates gain experience during a work-study trajectory, and this experience is the starting point for being able to qualify. Instead of failing or passing, looking at competencies can also be used to determine what someone can do and what he or she may need to learn in a workplace in order to become qualified.  

Un komienso nobo is financed from the crime fund.
