WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) has arrested two suspects in connection with a series of recent armed robberies that occurred last week. The arrests were carried out by the special Arrest Team on Tuesday, according to a police press release. 

The two men, aged 29 and 27, were apprehended in separate operations on Oranjestraat and Bargestraat. Following their arrests, police conducted house searches at multiple locations, during which items relevant to the investigation were seized. 

Both suspects have been brought before a duty public prosecutor and will remain in custody pending further investigation. 

The police emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and more arrests may follow as they continue to gather evidence related to the recent string of robberies. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward to assist in resolving these cases.
