Two more airlines announce flights from Venezuela to Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD, CARACAS - Avior and Albatros, two Venezuelan airlines, have announced that they will begin flying from Venezuela to Curaçao. Marco Leal, the director of the Curaçao Tourism Office in Caracas, confirmed the news to the Venezuelan newspaper El Universal, although he did not provide a specific date for the start of these flights.

According to Leal, Avior plans to start with three flights per week from Caracas, while Albatros will operate three flights per week from Las Piedras. This is great news for travelers looking to visit Curaçao from Venezuela, as it will provide more options and convenience.

In addition to Avior and Albatros, Laser Airlines will also begin operating a twice-weekly service between Caracas and Willemstad on Tuesdays and Fridays, starting on May 5th. The timing of this flight's reopening coincides with the company's 29th anniversary.

It is important to note that Venezuelan citizens who wish to enter Curaçao must have a valid visa that is valid for three months. Tourist passengers must also have a return or onward ticket to a third destination in case of transit travel. Additionally, they must have a valid hotel reservation or proof of accommodation and carry $150 per day for each day they stay in Curaçao.

This is a positive development for both Venezuela and Curaçao, as it will increase travel and trade opportunities between the two countries. As more airlines begin to offer flights between these destinations, it is hoped that tourism and business will continue to grow and prosper.
