WILLEMSTAD - The SDKK prison has received two containers with instruments and other material. It concerns donations from two organizations: the Miss IQ Foundation and the AFAS Foundation.
These are two Dutch foundations that collect materials to donate to schools and other institutions on the island. Among the items was also a special white piano, which according to acting prison director Richenald Ricardo, will have a special place in the building.
The prison management is extremely grateful for the donations. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Sithree van Heydoorn was also thanked for his help with the transport of the containers.
