WILLEMSTAD - Two men were arrested on Sunday during the children's carnival parade. Police spokesperson Maurits Rosalina informs that one of them was drunk and the other did not follow police orders.
After the parade, another motorcyclist was stopped for not wearing a helmet. All three men were arrested as part of the project launched by the police around carnival “Aktua Robes, Sintié Unbes”, or: act wrong, feel it right away.
The men have been fined, if they do not pay they will have to appear in court. Rosalina says that, with the exception of these arrests, the parade went smoothly.
