Turkish Cargo expands network

Turkish Cargo has expanded its flight network with a new destination: Quito, the capital of Ecuador.

WILLEMSTAD - Starting 7 March Turkish Cargo will operate flights to Quito twice a week with a Boeing 777F cargo ship. The flight route will be Istanbul - New York - Quito - Curaçao - Maastricht.

Quito is known as an exporter of flowers, textiles and foods such as sugar, cocoa, bananas, palm oil and coffee. It is "not only an important cultural and financial center, but also has considerable export and import potential," Turkish Cargo said in a statement.

Turkish Cargo currently offers cargo capacity to more than 300 destinations worldwide, including Curaçao, and serves 89 direct cargo destinations.
