Tumba Festival 2025 Finalists Announced as Event Reaches Its Peak

WILLEMSTAD – The Tumba Festival 2025 is reaching its climax as the 30 finalists have been announced. Over the past three days, artists showcased their compositions during the preliminary rounds, setting the stage for an electrifying final showdown. The festival, which celebrates the rich musical heritage of Curaçao, features a diverse lineup of artists from various musical genres. 

Among the finalists are some of Curaçao’s most recognized names, including Reinier ‘Reintje’ Lijfrock, Albertico ‘Tico’ Libiee, Raynor ‘Raey’ Lauffer, Urvin Jano, Djuric ‘DjuDju V’ Virginie, Amos ‘AmoreusZ’ Balentin, Dibo Doran, and Farley Laurens. These seasoned performers secured their spots in the final with strong performances during the preliminary rounds. 

The highly anticipated grand finale will take place on Friday, where the selected finalists will perform their songs in a bid to impress the jury and captivate the audience. The competition is fierce, with each artist aiming to claim the prestigious title of Tumba King or Queen. 

Throughout the years, the Tumba Festival has played a significant role in propelling emerging talents into the spotlight. This year’s preliminaries showcased exceptional musical diversity, reflecting the evolving nature of Curaçao’s vibrant music scene. 

As the excitement builds, all eyes are on the grand finale. By the end of the night on Friday, one artist will be crowned the winner of the Tumba Festival 2025, solidifying their place in Curaçao’s musical history.
