WILLEMSTAD - Parliamentarian Sheldry Osepa has alleged that the true reason behind the recent breakup of the coalition remains obscured. According to Osepa, there is a completely different motive for the MFK's split with the PNP than what has been publicly communicated.

On Wednesday, the MFK faction issued a letter declaring their inability to continue working with Osepa and Gwendell Mercelina due to a lack of trust. The letter pointed to the two MPs' critical stance towards Minister Javier Silvania of Finance during a meeting earlier in the week as the primary reason for the breakdown. However, Osepa contends that this is not the genuine cause of the split and has yet to disclose the real reason behind the coalition’s collapse.
The situation around the coalition developed rapidly throughout the day. Despite the ongoing crisis, parliamentary activities proceeded as scheduled on Wednesday, including discussions on the inquiry commission investigating the high costs associated with the construction of the hospital.
