WILLEMSTAD - Travel organization TUI significantly benefited in the past quarter from the high demand for vacations, city trips, and cruises during the summer months. The company has noticed a rapid increase in summer bookings over the past few weeks.

TUI achieved a revenue of 5.8 billion euros, marking an increase of nearly 10 percent compared to the same period last year. This is the highest revenue ever recorded by TUI for the third quarter of its fiscal year.

TUI offers various trips to Curaçao and operates its own flights to the island, with daily flights to Curaçao. The TUI office, located on Schottegatweg, is even adding an extra floor, which will create more job opportunities for staff. Additionally, a TUI Blue hotel is being constructed in Bandabou.

A total of 5.8 million travelers used one of TUI's travel services. So far, 88 percent of the summer offerings have been sold, amounting to 13.3 million bookings. This percentage was around 87 percent at this time last year. Destinations like Spain, Greece, and Turkey are particularly popular this summer.
