WILLEMSTAD - The traffic lights at Nieuwe Havenweg near the Free Zone are expected to be out of service for a week. The maintenance work will start on Wednesday.
Public Works will replace the existing lights with LED lights. The work will take place from 08:30 to 11:30 in the morning and from 13:30 to 16:00 in the afternoon. During these hours, traffic controllers will be active to direct traffic in the right direction.
The government asks drivers to respect the traffic signs and to drive carefully during maintenance work, to prevent accidents.
