WILLEMSTAD - During a traffic check on Argusweg on last weekend, nearly half of the inspected vehicles were fined. Out of the 45 vehicles checked, 23 received fines.
Various violations were noted during the inspection. Several drivers did not have a driver's license with them, were driving without a valid inspection card, insurance, or tax, and the absence of the mandatory front license plate was also a common offense. Additionally, fines were issued for driving with tinted windows and driving in the wrong direction.
One vehicle was impounded.
