WILLEMSTAD - A tourist was injured Tuesday morning while kite surfing in Sint Jorisbaai. Multiple media outlets report this.
While surfing, there was reportedly a strong gust of wind that lifted the tourist high in the air. Eventually, the wind subsided, causing the tourist to fall hard and land with his head on the ground along the coastline.
Due to his injuries, the surfer was taken to the hospital.
