WILLEMSTAD - Three newly ordered ambulances are en route to Curaçao. With this, all stations of Fundashon Kuido di Ambulans Kòrsou would be equipped with ambulances, as announced by the Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature (GMN).
These stations include Barber, Montaña, and Zakitó, where an 'Emergency Car' is also available. The ambulances from the Red Cross will no longer be used for support.
"Acquiring new ambulances is a lengthy process, but we are almost at the point where the ambulances will arrive in Curaçao," stated the GMN ministry.
In mid-July, Nu.cw reported that Curaçao would receive three new ambulances. The GMN ministry then announced that it would cover the cost of the ambulances, amounting to 1.3 million guilders. In July, it was revealed that the ambulances would be delivered within seven months.
