WILLEMSTAD - Maduro & Curiel's Bank in Curaçao has decided that commercial and private mortgage holders do not have to pay interest and repayments for three months.
There is also no repayment and interest paid on personal loans for the months of March, April and May.
The largest bank on the island hopes to give the residents of Curaçao some breathing air now that many employers close their businesses or keep them open with limitations in connection with government measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
The MCB calls on other banks to do the same.
