WILLEMSTAD - Three men were arrested by the police on Monday evening, May 31, in connection with a robbery that occurred at a restaurant on Winston Churchillweg. Startlingly, it is suspected that the robbery was carried out by three employees of McDonald's at their own workplace.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the three individuals were taken into custody and transported to the police station. The suspects include an 18-year-old and two 19-year-olds. Following their apprehension, the police conducted searches at the suspects' residences; however, the results of these searches have not been disclosed.
The arrested individuals have been formally charged and are currently being held in custody while further investigations are underway.
