Ready to execute various strategic Initiatives in collaboration with Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) and its Strategic Partners.
WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Wellness Association (CWA) has started 2025 with renewed energy. The board, composed of Eileen Isebia, Kristy Niessen, Nancy Rodrigues Pereira and Maria-Helena Seferina-Rojas, together with intern Neftaly Lourens, has developed an ambitious but tangible strategic action plan for the new year. Several strategic actions are planned to support its members and strengthen the wellness sector in Curaçao. The CWA thanks the members that have joined the membership meanwhile for their trust.
Collaboration
A key highlight is CWA’s partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO), established through the National Export Strategic for Health & Wellness Tourism. This collaboration underscores the importance of joint efforts to elevate Curaçao’s wellness sector where both parties place a pivotal role.
CWA’s mission for 2025
The CWA has formulated clear goals for the wellness sector. For 2025 the focus areas will be building a coherent membership platform where members' interests are heard and membership benefits will become clear in terms of what a membership actually brings to the table for a company active and interested in the wellness sector on our island. The first steps in investigating and mapping the sector will be done and a quality framework for the sector will be outlined, various knowledge sharing initiatives will be taking place like webinars and other events about topics of high interest and the first steps will be taken to outline the ideal regulations framework for a high quality wellness sector. The established work groups supporting the CWA Board are committed to support the strategy and actions to be executed going forward. The CWA is extremely proud and appreciative of the commitment of each and every work group member. With a total of over 20 work group members, the basis for an effective working environment has been set up.
Strategic Partnerships
In addition to MEO, CWA actively collaborates with it’s strategic partners including Analytisch Diagnostisch Centrum (ADC), Universidad Integral Del Caribe y América Latina (UNICAL) and Dolphin Suites & Wellness Curaçao. Other Partners of CWA are Health Tourism Worldwide (HTWW Life), Curaçao Investment & Export Promotion Agency (CINEX), and Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB). Together, these parties aim to maximize benefits for members and the broader wellness community.
The CWA is determined to its slogan for 2025: Empowering Wellness, Enriching Communities.
