Temporary Change in Wedding Ceremony Venue Announced

Local | By Press release December 20, 2024

WILLEMSTAD – Public Affairs, commonly known as “Kranshi,” has announced a temporary change in the location for wedding ceremonies. Starting Monday, December 23, 2024, all marriage ceremonies will be held in the Rudy Hall at the Kura Hulanda Conference Center in Otrobanda.

The change is due to ongoing renovations in the main ceremonial hall traditionally used for wedding ceremonies. These renovations will render the usual venue unavailable from December 23 until mid-February 2025. During this period, ceremonies will be conducted in the beautifully appointed Rudy Hall, which offers stunning views of St. Anna Bay.

The Ministry of Government Administration, Planning, and Public Affairs has assured the public that every effort is being made to provide the best possible service during this temporary transition.

Once renovations are completed, the regular matrimonial hall in Otrobanda will reopen in enhanced condition, ready to host weddings in a dignified and memorable setting.

Couples planning to get married during this time are encouraged to take note of the venue change.
