WILLEMSTAD - The future of Telecuraçao has become uncertain. Parent company UTS has been taken over by Liberty Latin America, but Telecuraçao is not part of that deal.

The channel is housed in a temporary foundation and ultimately becomes the property of the government. Then the way is clear to turn it into a public channel. But that decision has not yet been made.
