WILLEMSTAD - The team established in January for surveillance and enforcement under the Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature (GMN) has received new vehicles to enhance their operational capabilities. This was announced by the GMN Ministry in a press release.
Prime Minister Gilmar ‘Pik’ Pisas (MFK) initiated a new team earlier this year, primarily tasked with addressing environmental issues and other matters related to nature. According to the GMN Ministry, it is crucial for them to have their own service vehicles to facilitate their tasks effectively.
Therefore, on Thursday, three new vehicles were handed over. During the ceremony, Pisas expressed his satisfaction with the team's establishment and assured that they now have all the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively. The vehicles were blessed by Pastor Jose Luis, after which Pisas and Secretary-General Sharlon Melfor symbolically affixed the license plates.
