WILLEMSTAD – Artificial intelligence has become part of the Social Insurance Bank's modernization strategy, with SVB introducing AI training for employees as part of a broader digital transformation program during 2025. The initiative is highlighted in the organization's latest annual report.
According to SVB, employees received specialized training focused on the productive, responsible and secure use of artificial intelligence in their daily work.
The AI course forms part of several technology projects implemented during the year. Among the most significant developments was the launch of the new Employer Portal, allowing employers to manage employee registrations, changes and terminations online. The institution also introduced a redesigned website with improved accessibility, upgraded its network infrastructure and began implementing Microsoft 365 across the organization.
SVB also started developing a new medical referral management system and confirmed that its Pension Online Services portal is scheduled to go live in 2026.
The institution says these investments are aimed at improving efficiency, strengthening cybersecurity and providing faster, more accessible services to citizens and employers.
As digital services continue to expand, SVB says innovation will remain a central pillar of its strategy in the coming years.
