Thousands of visitors in Fuik Valley during the two-day festival

WILLEMSTAD - A special two-day celebration of the New Year took place on the grounds of the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf resort on Curaçao last weekend. Friday evening, January 3, a special setting, good food on the food court and big names from the dance and urban scene made for an unforgettable evening. On the stage of the Tabula Rasa Festival, Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, Dopebwoy, Lucas & Steve and Freddy Moreira performed and provided a real festival atmosphere. With thousands of visitors, the first festival evening at Fuik Valley was very successful.

On Saturday, January 4, the new year was celebrated in a different way in collaboration with the Rotary Club Willemstad; Cabaret Culinary. This evening was ushered in with good food and good humor. The grounds of the dance festival were converted into a theater setting where host Jörgen Raymann introduced three comedians to the Curaçao public: Anuar, Stefan Pop and Rayan Panday. Visitors enjoyed hilarious jokes and good food. With more than 650 people on site and the proceeds going to a charity of the Rotary Club Willemstad, this evening was also very successful, according to the organization.
