Successful Graduation Ceremony for Pre-Master in Human Resources

WILLEMSTAD – On Monday, September 22, 2025, the Government Academy of Curaçao proudly hosted the graduation ceremony for participants of the Pre-Master in Human Resources program, developed in collaboration with the University of Curaçao (UoC). A diverse group of approximately 25 professionals, including both civil servants and representatives from the private sector, successfully completed the program.

The Pre-Master in Human Resources, created in close cooperation with UoC, forms a key part of the government’s ambition to invest in the knowledge and skills of civil servants and professionals on the island. The program prepares participants for the next step: pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources, enabling them to further specialize and contribute to modern, future-oriented personnel management.

A remarkable achievement was noted: all participants who began the Pre-Master completed the program successfully. This, organizers emphasized, reflects the strong motivation and commitment of the group to further develop their expertise in the HR field.

During the celebration, participants were recognized for their dedication and perseverance. With the knowledge and skills they acquired, they are now better equipped to support organizations—both in government and in the private sector—on strategic human resources issues, organizational development, and the promotion of sound employment practices.

The Government Academy highlighted that this initiative is an example of how collaboration between government, academia, and the private sector can drive sustainable human capital development in Curaçao.
