WILLEMSTAD - In the first week of November, the 3x3 School Sports Basketball Tournament was held with great enthusiasm. A sporting event that this year brought together 14 teams of four students from different schools. With sportsmanship and teamwork as a guiding principle, the teams made it a spectacular competition.

After a day full of intensive matches, the Divi Divi School was crowned champion of the tournament and thus deserves the honor of representing Curaçao at the Interinsulair Games, the inter-islands games in March 2025. Second place went to the Johan van Walbeeckschool, followed by the Van Houteschool in third place.
The tournament also had several special awards. The 'Fair Play' Award was presented to Sint Fransiscus College for their exemplary sportsmanship. The title of 'Most Valuable Staff' went to Kolegio Sta Clara, and the excellent performance of Ayden Levy Paula of the Divi Divi School was rewarded with the title of 'Most Valuable Player'. The 3x3 Schoolsport Basketball Tournament has once again proven how sports can contribute to the development of young people, both physically and socially. The organization thanks all participating schools, coaches and volunteers for their efforts and looks forward to the successful participation of the Divi Divi School on the international stage.
