WILLEMSTAD - On Friday, 21 November 2025, the Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Curaçao, Mrs. Annemieke Verrijp, paid a working visit to the Governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Mauritsz de Kort.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed, among other topics, the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Kingdom ministry for the Caribbean countries and how this role relates to the evolving geopolitical developments in the region.
The visit forms part of ongoing coordination between the Kingdom partners as regional security issues, international cooperation and diplomatic relations gain increased significance for the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
