WILLEMSTAD – On January 28 and 29, the Department of Public Affairs (Kranshi) will offer special hours to renew or obtain ID cards (Sedula) for those eligible to vote in the 2025 elections.
Kranshi will be open on these dates from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM specifically for voters needing to acquire or renew their Sedula, an essential identification document required at the polls.
Key Information:
Appointments are not required for the special hours on these two days.
Eligibility requirements include:
Holding Dutch nationality.
Being registered in the electoral roll as of December 24, 2024.
Being 18 years of age or older.
Additionally, during the same special hours, individuals can process address changes by presenting one of the following documents:
A rental contract.
A power of attorney letter from the property owner, accompanied by a copy of the owner’s valid ID.
Proof of purchase of the property if the applicant is the new owner.
