WILLEMSTAD, ORANJESTAD - The Social Development Program has commenced on both Aruba and Curaçao. Eleven girls have started in Aruba, and sixteen boys have begun in Curaçao.
The initial phase of the program focuses on discipline, perseverance, self-respect, structure, and a sense of responsibility. Caribbean military personnel, along with instructors from the navy, are providing instruction to the young participants. Currently, the boys are spending four days in the wilderness. The activities they engage in are aimed at teaching teamwork, trust, and discipline.
