WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare (SOAW) has announced that all of its departments and offices will be closed to the public for the entire day on Friday, September 25, 2026.
According to the ministry, the temporary closure is necessary because SOAW employees will participate in an internal staff training session.
As a result, members of the public will not be able to access SOAW’s regular in-person services at its departments and offices that day.
Normal public services will resume on Monday, September 28, according to the ministry’s regular operating hours.
SOAW apologized to the public for any inconvenience caused by the one-day closure.
