WILLEMSTAD – Minister of Social Development, Labor and Welfare (SOAW) Charetti America-Francisca (MFK) plans to resume the national dialogue between employers, labor unions, and the government in April, according to reports.
The consultation platform has been inactive for some time, despite repeated calls from social partners to restart discussions. The minister emphasized that the dialogue is a key instrument for advancing reforms in the social and labor sectors.
Authorities are currently searching for an independent facilitator to guide the process and ensure balanced discussions among the parties involved. According to America-Francisca, the relaunch of the platform is intended to strengthen cooperation and improve preparation for upcoming international labor conferences.
The resumption of the dialogue is expected to address ongoing labor-related challenges and contribute to more coordinated policymaking between government and stakeholders.
