WILLEMSTAD - Eight hundred individuals have received a booster shot thus far, as announced by the Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature.
Individuals aged 75 and older and those belonging to high-risk groups have been eligible to receive their Covid-19 booster shot from the Public Health Service Curaçao, the Implementation Organization for Medicine & Healthcare, starting from January 4.
High-risk groups include individuals aged 60 and older, those between 18 and 59 years who receive an annual flu shot, and individuals between 18 and 59 years with obesity.
Additionally, individuals with a mental disability, those with a weakened immune system, healthcare providers, and residents of nursing homes are also eligible to receive a booster shot.
