WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Finance Javier Silvania has subtly reminded the Dutch government not to interfere with the legislation of the autonomous country of Curaçao.
The minister made these remarks in response to questions from Member of Parliament Osepa of the coalition party PNP regarding the ongoing development of online gambling regulations. As part of the liquidity support provided during the COVID-19 crisis, the Pisas cabinet has committed to addressing issues within the online gambling sector.
Recent complaints from officials in The Hague suggest that Silvania's ministry has been unwilling to share information on the progress made thus far.
