WILLEMSTAD - Minister Javier Silvania of the MFK party has criticized the opinion poll conducted by the Curaçao Knowledge Center. Despite the poll showing that voters have the most confidence in the Minister of Finance, he has labeled the survey as manipulation.
Firstly, he points out issues with the wording of the questions. The knowledge center asked voters which political leader they trust the most. Silvania, who scored the highest, is not a party leader. MFK leader Pik Pisas scored relatively low at 23 percent and ended up in fifth place. Silvania insinuates that the poll might have been funded by a political party. As a result, the minister does not wish to receive praise for the poll's outcomes. "Congratulate me for the good work I do, I don't fall into traps," stated Silvania on Facebook.
