WILLEMSTAD - A man was fatally shot in his car on Tuesday around 5:00 PM on Elmesstraat in Steenrijk. The police found the man in his vehicle showing no signs of life, as reported by the Korps Politie Curaçao.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the shots were fired from another vehicle, hitting the victim in the upper body. Despite the rapid response of the ambulance, nothing could be done to save him.
The police have seized the vehicle, several bullet casings, and the body for further investigation. The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
