WILLEMSTAD - As early as 2017, the PAR fraction in parliament has been working on an initiative law to tackle sexual misconduct and sexual harassment in the workplace.

With Karin Bosman and Renata Nieuw, PAR party chairman Annemaria Pauletta has made a number of changes to the bill proposal.

This way, sexual misconduct is better defined, and sanctions are imposed on employers who do not adequately protect their employees against these practices.

According to Pauletta, that happened after the Advisory Board considered the initiative and made a number of recommendations.
