WILLEMSTAD – Several streets in the Punda district are closed today due to an urgent issue with the sewer system, according to an announcement by Minister Charles Cooper of Traffic, Transportation and Urban Planning, in collaboration with the Department of Public Works. 

The affected streets include Keukenstraat (near the JoJo Correa Plaza), Hanchi Snoa, Wolkstraat, and Prinsenstraat. 

Authorities are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. In the meantime, Minister Cooper has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the road closures. 

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area and follow detour signs where available. Updates will be provided as the situation develops.
