WILLEMSTAD - The seventh edition of the Curaçao Export Week, taking place from May 10th to 17th, has as its central theme "Demystifying Exports", focusing on unveiling the process of exporting. The Ministry of Economic Development aims to dispel myths and mysteries surrounding exports.
According to the ministry, many people still believe that exporting is complicated, only for large companies, limited to products or services, or that Curaçao does not export anything.

"Various sectors are receiving more attention, and we see enthusiasm among our entrepreneurs to explore new opportunities beyond our borders," said Vanessa Toré, director of the division responsible for international trade within the Ministry of Economic Development.

We observe increasing expansion in the creative sector, as well as in IT, where Curaçao is evolving as the Digital Hub of the Americas, attracting numerous new investments," added Toré.
"Our Free Trade Zone, which is also expanding and has established a new industrial zone in the port focused on export-oriented companies, not to mention the Tourism sector, which is experiencing historic growth unprecedented before, with significant expansion in markets such as Brazil, the US, Canada, Germany, and our traditional market, the Netherlands."
